Please sign up for a topic on which you will do a presentation and lead the class discussion. We will have 10 class sessions after the President's Day weekend, and I'd like to reserve the last one or two weeks for discussion of your draft research projects. That leaves 8 or 9 weeks for presentations/discussions. I have listed below selected topics from the syllabus plus a couple which I remember people mentioning in our first class. If I missed your favorite topic (or if you missed the first class and want to pick another one from the syllabus) please feel free to add it to the list. We'll do a final selection once everyone has signed up.
A few basic rules:
- we have 13 people in the class, so that means either one or two presenters per topic. Once 2 people have signed up for one topic, please don't add your name to that week.
- the topics are not listed in chronological order. the schedule will be determined once everyone has signed up.
- Please make sure you sign up for a topic before Sunday 2/8 night. we will discuss and finalize the schedule next Monday.
- The presentation topic doesn't have to be the same as your research topic. they can be entirely different, or related. In either case, the class presentation and discussion topic will be broader than any research project.

Prof. Bar,
I'd like to explore through the study of convergence, how the integration of content across media platforms can be used to improve the reach of educational content in developing countries. How these countries can use emerging technological trends to develop engaging educational experiences with better outcomes. Also, I’m looking to understand potential strategies to cut through our cluttered media environment and not only to reach the audience but, most important, to deliver a specialized content.

As discussed in class, Myriam and I will be presenting on the 2nd, (we switched with Natalie). We'll be sending the links to the readings during the week. Thanks!

If a link isn't working let us know, otherwise copy/paste the citation in google search and you'll probably find the article on another website.
See you next week!
