Hello all! My name is Amanda, I'm originally from Southern California but moved to New York to go to NYU and work for a few years. Like Myriam and Maya, I am a Global Comm student and spent last year (first year of the program) in London at the London School of Economics.

My background is in entertainment/film however I am looking to move into humanitarian/development work with a specific focus on how media and communications is utilized within that field. 

Although my language skills are embarrassingly weak (bad spanish and beginner italian) I am obsessed with traveling. I graduate in May and am hoping to find a job which works internationally in some capacity.
