Hi everyone,
I'm sorry that I missed the first class, and here is my brief self introduction. I'm looking forward to a great semester spending with you all.
My name is Guoer Cheng and I'm from China (Sichuan Province, the western part of China). You can call me Amy since the Chinese name maybe a little hard for you to pronounce. This is my second semester in USC and my first semester in Comm Management program (I have transfered from Public Policy Department to Annenberg).
I graduated from Sichuan University in China last summer with bachlor's degree of Media/Journalism. During each summer vacation of my undergraduate, I have taken a certain professional internship: Intern Journalist of local newspaper, Manager Assistant of Asia Phoenix TV, PR Manager Assistant of Wal-Mart China Headquarter, and Assistant to Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Chengdu Evening News Corporation. At present I am doing the extracurricular internship in US-China Today Magazine in USC.
I have diversified intern experiences in communication industry and international background, but I'm trully a freshman in the "American study system" which requires both a second language and a totally different way of thinking---- I mean broader, freer and much more active. I wish I could learn precious knowledge from the class and contribute to it as much as I can.
