Hello, all-.

My name is Jin (or Ji-eun ) and I am a first year masters student in communication management program. 

 Since 2003, I’ve been working for Chosun daily ( www.chosun.com ) which is the largest news media in Korea as a business reporter.

 I have been incredibly fortunate in that my work has allowed me to meet people from all walks of life: from CEOs and business owners to drug dealers and refugees. While traveling all over the world and meeting thousands of people, I realized that the two most important enablers for developing nation are education and technology.

Based on my experience, I published two books in 2007, ‘the future of the innovation’, ‘Meet the CEO’. (Unfortunately they are written only in Korean.)

I am also a member of Asia Society. It is the non-profit global organization to strengthen relationships and promote understanding among leaders and institutions in Asia and the United states. Every two years, I participate in a summit taking place in the capital city of each member countries. Check out the website. Lots of useful information.

For my hobbies, I am a big fan of movies and CSI (CBS Tv program). I also LOVE traveling except for the flying part.

I am still formulating ideas for my project, but as for now, I would like to look at the various implications of ICT applications.
